I am sorry it has been so long since my last post but I have been feeling pretty sick with the retched virus going around at the moment. I finally went to the doctor today only to be told take some antibiotics and come back next week. Also her words of encouragement as I left the office was "I would like to tell you that you will be feeling better soon but you wont". Nice hey! Anyhow that is enough of my moaning.
Yesterday, the first day in a while, I could look at my stamps and papers and feel inspired to make something. I set off with something else completely in mind but have to say I like what I came up with in the end. I struggle to make male cards but as my son has a party to go to this weekend I had no choice but to make one. Luckily for me last week I received some happy mail (some prizes that I had won) from Tickled Pink and in that was Pirate Frankie from the February Lil Allsorts range. I decided to combine this weeks challenge at Tickled Pink Stamp Challenges being Tags with the sketch from Friday Sketchers and love that I have come up with a HUGE tag that has a tag on it too and it is not my normal square.
I actually make the sentiment up on word and printed it out. I am now a bit unsure of it as my daughter informs me that I always make up funny things but it was not really said with a humorous voice rather more like a mum you are weired voice, LOL! Anyhow I hope the young man receiving this gets my pirate humour!!
I am also going to enter this into the following challenges:
Paperplay - Lets get sentimental - Wild Orchid crafts - Anything Goes
Well that is about it for me today. Hopefully as the antibiotics kick in I will start to feel better and be able to face my stamps a bit more.
Thanks for stopping by, until next time xoxo
