New Friday Sketch Challenge

Its an exciting day today with the launch of a new sketch challenge blog called Friday Sketch Challenge. The new challenge blog has been created by Tracey....I am lucky enough to be joining this bunch of hugely talented girls.

This week the sketch has been created by Deb...I have flipped it on its side though.

I have mixed the older traditional colours with some black (my favorite colour) added some cheesecloth. I have had this Santa from Magnolia coloured up for a while now and seeming I have made such a good start on my Christmas cards this week I thought I would continue my current theme. I have also used the presents falling from Santa's sack (well at least that is the effect I was going for!) as the embellishments for the edge of the circle that was on the sketch...I finished my card by adding some smooch spritz from Stampin Up. I love how this does not soak your paper like the tattered angles glimmer mist does. They also have a few colours to choose from. If you are interested at ordering some, or even looking through the new catalogue  contact my best friend Deeanne from Deelish Designs she is a Stampin up demonstrator and has lots of great deals that she often runs on her own (separate from Stampin Up) and ribbon shares. If she gets enough interested people or requests she would have paper shares and embellishments shares too.  She is very quick to order and can even have it delivered to your house....Be sure to let her know that I have sent you her way!

Sketch #1 by Debra

I believe our challenges are going to be fortnightly so that gives you lots of time to get creating and join us. I know that we are going to be trying to get some sponsors on board soon so we can give away some prizes.

So that is all for me today thanks for stopping by, untl next time
