Some News & the Latest MDUC Challenge

Morning everyone I know it has been a while since my last post but you see a lot has happened since then. The same day I did my last post my beautiful Nana who has been battling illness for a few years suffered kidney failure and the heartbreaking decision was made to put her into palliative care. The following afternoon aged 79 years old my Nana lost her battle. My Nana has been a huge part of our lives (as I am sure many of your Nana's have been to you) and I have not taken this very easily. Although we knew it was coming the reality of no longer having her to visit and knowing that she will never walk into a room again is heart breaking.

I had a feeling before this happened that this was coming and had made a start on some of my DT cards. As such I have one for you today and once for you later in the week. I am taking a short break from my cards but promise I will be back soon. Currently I look at my crafting stuff and think blah.....I know this will change again soon.

Today at Magnolia Down Under Challenges our new challenge is Black & White. We want to see Tilda/Edwin coloured in black and white only. Your card can have colour but not your image. It has been a ling time since I have coloured in black and white and have to say it was good fun.

My card is pretty uninspiring as I had so many things on my mind when I was making it.

We look forward to seeing your gorgeous creations. Don't forget to drop by MDUC and check out the awesome samples from the DT.

Thank you for taking the time to read my post. Until next time....

  1. Hi Bron!
I was so saddened to read these news in our dt group :( I was also very close to my Nana and I can so relate to what you´re going through right now so of course your crafting corner isn´t looking very inviting right now...I hope you will feel better soon! Thinking of you!

Your card is smashing though! Love Tilda in B&W and the way you did your B&W colouring is beyond gorgeous :) Stunning papers to match it all with too :)

    Big hugs!
