A little bit of this and that

Today I am bringing you a card that I made over the weekend. It was so hot here in Melbourne that I struggled to get lots done so I ended up making a card on Saturday evening.

Anyhow I saw the current sketch over at The Sketchy Challenges and just knew that I had to play. I love the simplicty of this sketch it is was perfect for me to finally use this Tilda stamp and papers that I have had sitting there for a little while now!

As I said had lots of fun making this card and getting to use some stash that has been laying about for a while. I really like the effect the liquid pearls have on the black circle at the front of the shaker section. There is lots of glitz to this card but the photo does not show it too well but the edges of the inner square and the flowers have stickles on them.

I am also entering my card into the following:

Simply Magnolia - Bling and Bows
Paper Sundaes - Circles

So that's it for me today. I best be off have lots of things to catch up on around the house.

Thanks for stopping by, until next time xoxox

  6. Hi there,
Stunning Shaker Card!!! You did an amazing job with the liquid pearls; it's almost as if you had used real ones. Gorgeous coloring of this old image that not too many people seem to have bought into. I think it's such a fun image though. Love all the cheese cloth as well. Thanks for joining the Sketchy Girls.
