Good evening everyone I hope your enjoying the Make it Crafty Australia Day blog hop so far..If you came here from the lovely Delphine then you are in the right place if not you can begin the hop at Aeryn's page.
It is Australia Day here tomorrow and what a better way to celebrate than to have some Aussie style projects.
I have made a small calendar that you can hang above your desk..
here is a close up of The Gumnut Girl
I went on the search for some Australian papers the other week and lets just say the variety was pretty sparse so I came home with only two sheets to play with. I think this was an error as I was restricting myself so much that it gobbled up my creativity. I coloured the gorgeous Gumnut Flower Girl, because how could I resist, and then set to work on my card and blank....I shuffled the paper and embellishments around all afternoon and came up with nothing until the last minute when I decided to scrap what I was doing and the idea of the calendar came to me. It is fairly basic, as in not covered in embellishments but every time I tried to add something to it, it just did not look right.
Your next stop on the hop is Stephanie . Now be sure to leave comments along the way as there is come hidden candy on the hop which will be announced next week.
Here is a complete list of the hop for you as well just in case you get lost.
