Good morning everyone. I hope you all had a wonderful weekend. My weekend was very busy but I did manage to get time to make one card for a very special person this weekend, my mum. It was mums birthday yesterday so I had to really pull out all stops and come up with something special.
I have based my card using the latest The Sugar Bowl Sketch challenge:
I used the stamp Daisy which is created by Elisabeth Bell for part of the Sugar Nellie Stamps range and can be purchased through Funky Kits. I have used my forever wonderful copic markers for colouring her in. I faux stitched around her image and added some smudge of brown ink. The patterned paper is called So Charming from the Bella Sarah-Jane Paperz range I just loved these colours. The one requirement of the sketch this fortnight was to use lace, so I have created some lace using my paper punch from Fiskars. The flowers are from kaisercraft and I added some kaisercraft pearls for the centre of the pollen. The sentiment is from the Stampin Up set Great Friend and as always the cardstock is all Stampin Up. Phew I think I mentioned everything I have used!!
I have to say that I was not sure about the card when I first finished it but as I sat at Mum and Dads last night looking at it it grew on me more and more to the point now where I can actually say that I really like it.
That is all I have for you today. After my busy weekend I am now having an easy day and hoping to get some stamping done.
Until next time xoxo
